The Covilhã Innov Summit is the result of a partnership between UBI/UBIMEDICAL and the Municipality of Covilhã. 2025 was the year of the first edition, aimed at sharing the successful innovation that maps the region in such pressing areas as health, digital, artificial intelligence, data, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology and smart cities, among others.
For three days there was a rich, lively and fertile discussion between entrepreneurs, innovators, policy-makers, facilitators and investors, all rowing in the same direction – placing the region’s innovation in the world.
As such, between 12 and 14 March, startups, entrepreneurs, investors and visionary leaders met and discussed the major themes of innovation and entrepreneurship. With various workshops, talks and roundtables, as well as an exhibition of startups and a pitch competition, the Covilhã Innov Summit was the perfect place to boost the entrepreneurial spirit and regional innovation.
The Covilhã Innov Summit generated a lot of interest, not only regionally but also nationally. There were several news coming in the regional an national media not only before the event, but also during and after the event.
