Sardinha & Matos, Lda. is a start-up founded by two brothers who are engineers: Manuel Sardinha Matos, an electrical engineer, and Pedro Sardinha Matos, a mechanical engineer, both with distinguished careers in the energy sector, united by a common vision: to devote themselves to developing innovative solutions for the residential and industrial energy markets, with the aim of maximising energy efficiency, reducing electrical waste and promoting the use of renewable sources, generating real and tangible savings for the end user.
The solution currently under development, emerging from research carried out as part of one of the founders' master's thesis, proposes a ‘plug and play’ system that aims to optimise the management of residential electrical loads through dynamic power regulation, contributing to the maximisation of the use of local electrical resources.
