UBImedical opens its doors to Meet the Labs, an event that aims to showcase the laboratories and research teams present at the University of Beira Interior (UBI) incubator.
The initiative’s objectives are to explore the science carried out in the laboratories, meet the people behind the science, identify potential partnerships and collaborations, and discuss the ideas and projects that are transforming science and the market. It is aimed at the entire academic community, entrepreneurs seeking inspiration, and businesspeople.
In attendance will be Ana Paula Duarte, Rector of UBI, Sílvia Socorro, Vice-Rector for Research, Innovation and Development and Director of UBImedical, and the laboratory coordinators, Assunção Vaz Patto, Annabel Fernandes, António Espírito Santo, Pedro Monteiro, Sandra Soares, Eugenia Gallardo, Miguel Castelo-Branco, Fernando Velez, João Lanzinha and Luís Taborda Barata.
Meet the Labs will take place at UBImedical, starting at 11:00 a.m. on 15 October (Wednesday).
